In this session, John Henry of NJSBA and Jaimie Cloud of the Cloud Institute for Sustainability Education will discuss their leadership development work with school board members and other education leaders in NJ. What do NJSBA members need to know and what do they need to be able to do in order to champion green building initiatives, secure occupant health, and support professional development and curriculum innovation that educates for a sustainable future? Working with their municipalities, school districts can accelerate the shift toward student achievement, civic engagement and sustainable communities by preparing young people for the future we want.
