Investigating and Defending High Profile / Catastrophic Injury Cases Pre-Suit

This session will focus on the need for immediate action by school districts in retaining private investigators and counsel to investigate and respond to catastrophic injuries that occur on their premises. Aggressive pre-suit investigation allows school districts the opportunity to preserve evidence and recollections of witnesses at the outset of a claim when it most readily available. This enables school districts to cure existing dangerous conditions immediately, evaluate potential liability, and determine litigation and public relations strategies all without the burden of onerous discovery deadlines implemented during litigation.
