Workshop 2015 has ended

While SCHED doesn’t reserve your seat in sessions, it enables you to preview the three-day agenda and plan the schedule of events that you wish to attend during Workshop. You can print your schedule and carry it with you. Alternatively the site can be viewed on Blackberry, iPhone, and Android platforms, so attendees with those devices can easily see where they are supposed to be or what is happening right on a mobile device.

What Can the School Do When Students Exercise their First Amendment Rights Online?

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Join us as we continue the Mock Board discussion of student First Amendment rights in today’s online world. Recent case law has changed how and when school districts can discipline students for online comments/activity. Discuss how to apply the Tinker material and substantial disruption standard and how the analysis changes if harassment, intimidation or bullying is involved.
